About The Post

This post is part time, working 21 hours per week and is fixed term until 31 March 2029. The salary stated in salary details section is the pro-rata amount, the full time salary would be £47,732 - £52,867 per annum (Incl. LWA).

This role presents an exciting opportunity to become part of the team delivering the Enact: PR Voices and SPARKLE Phase 2project (AHRC Grant numberAH/Z000769/1) which will establish a core national data service including a repository built for practice research. This post is based at the University of Westminster who lead the Enact consortium comprised of the University of Leeds, Queen Mary University of London,and project partners the British Library and Jisc.

The Enact team comprises the Enact Executive Group (made up of the Project Lead and Co-Leads) and the Enact Delivery Team led by the Enact Project Lead and made up of the Enact Repository Manager and Enact Project Co-ordinator.The Enact project will be delivered by a team comprised of researchers, repository, research data, research management and open standards experts, working in partnership with an appointed technology partner. This will be underpinned by an approach of working in co-design with all Enact communities. For further information about the Enact project see the Enact website.

The Enact Repository Manager will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the Enact Repository build, ensuring principles of co-design with Enact communities are embedded, and take a leading role in the implementation of the Enact Pathfinder Programme. They will bring repositories, metadata and open standards expertise and be able to act as a technical bridge between Enact stakeholders and the Enact Technology Partner who will build the Enact Repository. They will also bring experience of successfully managing third party software supplier relationships and delivery of project(s) that implement technology change(s).

We are looking for a highly motivated team player who brings a unique combination of technical knowledge and is a clear, confident communicator skilled at building positive relationships with and influencing a range of stakeholders. They will have a genuine interest in the potential of repositories to better enable the communication of FAIR practice research.

Additional Information

This post has a specific number of hours allocated necessary to deliver the project objectives. Working hours are flexible, however, the postholder will need to make themselves available for project team meetings and project related events and meetings.

In line with the University of Westminster’s smart working approaches the post can be carried out as hybrid, however, the postholder will be expected to be on site in London a minimum of one day a month and be available to travel to Enact related events and meetings.

We are willing to consider secondment opportunities to enable candidates with the relevant skills and experience to apply for this role however  we are looking for candidates who can be available to start in May 2026
