Energy & Utilities Coordinator
Salary from £29,100 – £32,468 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £34,107 pa inclusive of London allowance
LSE is seeking to appoint an Energy & Utilities Coordinator to join its Sustainability Team, a specialist function within the Estates Division responsible for environmental strategy, regulatory compliance and performance improvement across LSE's central London campus
The post holder will provide operational and analytical support to help LSE manage its energy and utilities consumption, carbon data, and environmental performance reporting. Working closely with the Carbon Reduction Manager and colleagues across Estates, Capital Development and Finance, they will play a key role in collecting, validating and analysing the data that underpins LSE's Net Zero commitments and environmental compliance obligations.
The role is well suited to someone who is analytically minded, comfortable working with data systems, and interested in building a career in sustainability and energy management within a complex, high-footfall estate.
The post holder should have:
- Experience of working with energy, utilities or environmental data, ideally in a facilities management, estates or sustainability setting
- Familiarity with carbon and GHG reporting frameworks, such as Scope 1 and 2 emissions, SECR or ESOS
- Experience of data management and validation, with the ability to identify anomalies and present findings clearly
- An understanding of energy management systems or ISO 50001, or a willingness to develop this knowledge in role
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and explain technical data to non-specialist audiences
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
