Remuneration: $158,080 to $165,606 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $133,579 to $139,939 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Engagement Manager, Faculty of Science to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Science.
The Engagement Manager leads the Faculty’s Engagement and WIL teams. This role is responsible for the strategic development, management and implementation of a range of stakeholder, student, industry and alumni engagement activities to build the Faculty’s profile as a leader in Science, IT and Mathematical Sciences education and research. The Engagement Manager will build and maintain trusted relationships within the Faculty and associated Divisional service areas and with stakeholders across industry (government, not-for-profit, and corporate sectors) and community (prospective and current students, alumni, philanthropic donors, and general public).

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team of staff to deliver high performance and excellence in service provision.
- Proven experience in leading successful programs of engagement activity including effective project planning and management to achieve alignment with strategic directions and outcomes.
- Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, negotiation and relationship management skills to realise new opportunities and grow productive partnerships, including through formal agreements.
- Demonstrated excellent written communication skills with the ability to research and prepare a range of complex documents, presentations and communications for external audiences.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, including the ability to work effectively to meet deadlines and develop, monitor and work within budgets.
