EngD position: Accurate laboratory indicator for snow performance of tread compounds
Job Summary: The project aims to develop and validate a sensitive laboratory method for predicting the snow performance of winter and all-season tread compounds. This method will enable accurate evaluation during the early stages of development, allowing selection of promising candidates for tire prototyping and outdoor testing.
Responsibilities: Develop a laboratory method to predict snow performance with 95% accuracy; ensure high precision in terms of repeatability and reproducibility; validate the method against outdoor testing results for winter and all-season tires.
Qualifications and Requirements: Hold a Master's degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field; possess relevant research experience, particularly in Rubber Technology (performance and testing) and Simulation and modelling; demonstrate a strong command of English (written and spoken).
