Offer Description
The research position is related to the developments of the activities to engineer a testbed platform for quantum networks. In particular, the experimental research activity will focus on the implementation, characterization, and validation of a metropolitan quantum network based on optical fibre, aimed at interconnecting remote quantum processors and quantum-network nodes. The activities will address the transmission of qubits and the generation and distribution of entangled states across different network nodes. The research programme will also include the development and validation of solutions for network contro! and orchestration according to a hardware-agnostic approach....
