- Remuneration: $138,193 to $156,633 pa (HEW8) (inclusive of $116,774 to $132,357 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a English Language Assistant Programs Manager - China (2 Positions Available) to join QUT College, Education Portfolio, Academic Division.
The DUT-QUT-TNE English Language Assistant Programs Manager is responsible for the operational co-ordination, academic development, and quality assurance of QUT College’s English Language Programs delivered at the partner institution, Dalian University of Technology, China. This role combines leadership and management responsibilities, focusing on managing the curriculum, supervising educators, and maintaining academic quality consistent with QUT standards within a demanding TNE and cross-cultural environment. The successful applicant will be required to provide medical clearance confirming the ability to travel and work in China for these lengthy periods. This position reports to the Executive Director, QUT College for career planning, development, and performance expectations

What you need to succeed
- A bachelor’s degree with postgraduate qualifications in TESOL or a postgraduate qualification with a significant TESOL component plus a minimum of five years full-time teaching experience.
- Expert knowledge of English language teaching (ELT) to speakers of other languages and a demonstrated high standard of teaching across a range of English Language proficiency levels and programs.
- Evidence of leadership in developing and implementing new courses and materials, particularly English for Academic Purposes, across a range of proficiency levels.
- Experience in English language proficiency assessment, test development, placement interviews, testing and marking, and program administration.
- Demonstrated leadership experience that contributes to a high-performance culture and the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a cross-cultural team of educators.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity and Indigenous Australian engagement.
