Teaching-Oriented Foreign Teachers

II. Teaching Staff Criteria

i. Qualification Requirements:

Applicants must be native speakers of English or Japanese and possess at least a bachelor’s or master’s degree. A minimum of two years of professional teaching experience and a genuine commitment to teaching are required. Candidates should plan to stay for a minimum of one academic year.

ii. Workload:

The required teaching load is a minimum of 16 class periods per week (each period is 45 minutes long). Any class period taught beyond this requirement will be compensated at an additional rate of RMB 100 on top of the base salary.

iii. Physical Condition:

Applicants must be in good physical condition.

iv. Preference:

Prior professional teaching experience at the university level is preferred.

V. What We Offer:

i. Compensation and Benefits:

The monthly salary ranges from RMB 6,000 to 10,000, depending on your qualifications and teaching experience, and is calculated over 10 months per year. If extra hours are worked, the University will pay RMB 100 for each extra class period. An additional allowance of RMB 2,200 per year is provided for holiday travel (for a one-year contract). Free accident insurance is also included.

ii. Permits:

We will handle the application process for the Residence Permit and Work Permit for every teacher, provided you supply the necessary documents.

iii. Travel:

One round-trip airline ticket will be reimbursed at the conclusion of the contract year. We also provide pickup service from the airport within the province.

iv. Housing:

A free private apartment/flat furnished with all necessary facilities will be provided as staff housing.
