Recruitment of English Language Teachers

Jilin Agricultural University, located in Changchun, Jilin Province, is a key comprehensive university in Jilin Province, committed to providing high-quality education. The School of Foreign Languages at Jilin Agricultural University is now seeking dedicated and experienced English teachers to join our dynamic team.

1. Job Description

1. Teach English courses to undergraduate students majoring in English in the School of Foreign Languages.
2. Develop and implement effective teaching plans and curricula to meet the academic needs of students.
3. Guide students in language learning, including listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation skills.
4. Participate in teaching research, and departmental activities.
5. The maximum teaching load is 18 class hours per week.

2. Requirements

• Nationality: Native English speakers from the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, or New Zealand are preferred.
• Teaching Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English, preferably at the university level.
• Age: Applicants should be no more than 50 years old.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree or above in English, Linguistics, Education, or related fields. A teaching certificate or relevant educational qualifications are an advantage.
• Skills: Excellent English language proficiency, strong teaching skills, and the ability to engage students in the learning process.

3. Compensation and Benefits

The university offers a competitive salary package between 10,000 CNY to 13,000 CNY per month, a friendly working environment, and opportunities for professional development. There are two options regarding accommodation

• Option 1: On-campus accommodation provided for free
• Option 2: Off-campus living allowance: 2,000 CNY per month
