I. Position

Foreign language teachers (7 English teachers, 1 Russian teacher, 2 German teachers)

II. Job Descriptions

Workload: Average of 12 teaching hours per week

Monthly salary: Competitive

Accommodation: Housing allowance provided

Work responsibility

• Teach foreign language courses to undergraduate students or postgraduate students, including oral courses, writing courses, elective courses, public speaking, and a public lecture each semester.
• Provide student counseling services twice a week for 1.5 hours each session.
• Participate in 1 to 2 extracurricular activities per semester, such as serving as judges for speech contests and participating in cultural week
• Actively engage in research activities related to teaching, write research papers and strive to publish them under the name of RUC faculty.
• Fulfill other teaching, research, and discipline development tasks assigned by the university and the school, as well as other tasks specified in the contract.

The above job responsibilities are subject to the final signed contract.

III. Entry time

Contracts start from September 2025, with a duration of at least one year, typically not exceeding three years.

IV. Applicants need to be

• Native language speakers
• With a Master’s degree or higher
• With at least 2 years of foreign languages teaching experience in China, or have an internationally recognized language teaching certificate.
• With a basic understanding of Chinese
• The university does not employ males over 60 years old (inclusive) or who will reach 60 years old during the contract period, as well as females over 55 years old (inclusive) or who will reach 55 years old during the contract period.
• For foreign teachers whose employment contracts (such as labor contracts) with other Chinese institutions have not yet expired, the university does not offer full-time employment.
