"English Teacher 2025-26"

English instructors Recruitment, Jiangsu Normal University (JSNU) 2025 – 2026

The specifications of the position are as follows:

1. Courses:

Language courses and culture courses, such as A History of Western Civilization, A Survey of Western Culture and Introduction to English-speaking Countries.

2. Workload:

Teaching on workdays (one teaching hour equals 40 minutes), and other teaching related duties.

Salary and Accommodation:

To be discussed based on the applicants’ prior educational background and workload at JSNU. The total income includes three parts:

• 1) Basic salary (as shown on the contract)
• 2) International allowances (One round airline ticket from China to home country)
• 3) Free Apartment on campus will be provided.

Requirements:

Native speakers of English with a TESOL/TEFL certificate preferred;

Applicants, except as stated below, must have teaching or relative full-time work experience of at least 2 years:

• 1) PhD holders;
• 2) MA holders in liberal arts majors;
• 3) MA holders in other majors but with a TESOL/TEFL certificate;
• 4) BA holders in Education/culture/Linguistics majors.
