I. Introduction to Xinxiang Medical University

Xinxiang Medical University, a Henan – provincial public university, stands as the sole independent Western medicine undergraduate institution in Henan. Guided by the motto “Virtue, Erudition, Benevolence, Application”, it has earned many honors, including Henan Civilized Unit and Top 50 Universities in China for Graduate Employment.

Established from a Western medicine clinic in 1896, the university has evolved significantly. It became an undergraduate institution in 1982, a master’s degree – awarding unit in 1998, and was approved as a provincial doctoral project key unit in 2021 and a national mental health regional medical center in 2022.

As of December 2023, it comprises 28 teaching colleges, offering 36 undergraduate majors across seven disciplines. With 12 first – level master’s and 10 professional master’s authorization points, it educates undergraduates, international students, and postgraduates. Boasting over 15,000 faculty (including clinical college staff) and nearly 30,000 students, plus 15 affiliated hospitals, it ranked 35th among Chinese medical universities in 2024.

II. Recruitment Positions

English Language Teachers: Teach courses like General English, English for Medical Purposes, and English Writing.

Teachers of Related Majors: Those specializing in medical humanities, psychology, public health, etc., are welcome.

III. Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or higher from a recognized overseas university.
• Working Experience: Minimum 2 years of work experience. International or cross – cultural teaching experience is a plus.
• Language Proficiency: Native – level English.
• Personal Qualities: Passion for teaching, strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
