Job Description

The instructor will teach 14-16 hours per week to undergraduate students in both the Joint Bachelor Degree Program in Interior Design and the School of Foreign Studies.

Courses may include:

• Freshman Composition
• English Speaking and Writing
• Academic Vocabulary and Reading Skills for International Students
• American Language for International Students

Instructors are expected to diligently perform their duties, complete all tasks on time, and provide teaching materials, such as course slides, for review to ensure quality and consistency.

Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a passion for higher education and a strong work ethic. Applicants must be native English speakers and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Required qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in English Language and Literature, TESOL, Linguistics, Education, or a related field. Applicants with a background in the arts are also encouraged to apply.
• At least two years of experience teaching English as a foreign language.
• A clean criminal record.

Preferred qualifications:

• A TESOL or EFL certificate.
