Department Introduction
There are 28 full-time teachers and 2 foreign teachers in the English program. Among the full-time teachers, there are 7 professors, 13 associate professors, 40% of them have doctoral degrees, 1 Young Taishan Scholar from Shandong Province, 1 Excellent Graduate Student Instructor from Shandong Province, 2 experts from Shandong Province Innovative and Entrepreneurial Education Instructor Pool, and 1 Qingdao Top Talent. More than 80% of the teachers have more than one year of study abroad and visiting experience in famous foreign universities. In addition, there are two special professors, who are senior simultaneous interpreters of the United Nations Maritime Organization and senior second language acquisition experts of Beijing Foreign Studies University.
