Foreign English Teachers Recruitment

We are currently seeking qualified foreign English teachers to join Tangshan Maritime Institute. If you meet the following requirements and are interested in contributing to education in China, we welcome your application.

Requirements

• Nationality: Must be from an English – speaking country (native English speakers).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, with the bachelor’s degree awarded by a university in an English – speaking country.
• Age: Between 25 and 60 years old.
• Teaching Experience: At least two years of full – time English teaching experience.
• Visa and Certification: Must meet all the conditions for applying for a work visa in China and a Foreign Expert Certificate.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly Salary: 16,000 RMB.
• Travel Subsidy: 4,000 RMB per academic year.
• Accommodation: A free apartment is provided, equipped with furniture, bedding, a TV, a refrigerator, a bathroom, heating and cooling equipment, etc. All water and electricity fees and maintenance services will be paid by the institute.
• Insurance: Personal accident insurance and critical illness medical insurance will be purchased.
• Airfare Subsidy: Foreign teachers who complete one academic year of teaching tasks will enjoy a round – trip international airfare (economy class) subsidy from Tianjin or Beijing Airport to the nearest place of their family residence. Those who complete one semester of teaching tasks will enjoy a one – way international airfare (economy class) subsidy, which will be reimbursed according to valid invoices.
• Airport Pick – up Service: Free pick – up service (from Tianjin or Beijing Airport) is provided for those who work at the institute for the first time.
• Residence Permit Fees: The institute will bear the expenses required for handling the “People’s Republic of China Foreigner Residence Permit” for foreign teachers and other related expenses.
• Family Residence Permit Fees: The institute will bear the expenses required for handling the “People’s Republic of China Foreigner Residence Permit” for the family members (with a master’s degree or above) of foreign teachers and one of their children, as well as other related expenses.
