Enrollment Management Specialist
Job Summary
The Enrollment Management Specialist supports institutional enrollment strategies through data analysis, reporting, and process coordination. This position plays a key role in monitoring enrollment trends, supporting recruitment and retention initiatives, and providing data-driven insights to inform decision-making. The specialist works collaboratively across campus to support student success through accurate data management, reporting, and continuous improvement of enrollment processes. The specialist reports to the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness.
Duties/Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Collect, analyze, and report enrollment data, including applications, admissions, registration, retention, and completion metrics.
- Collect, analyze, and report licensure and certification data for all LSCO students, including dual credit students.
- Support the development and monitoring of enrollment management strategies aligned with the college’s mission and institutional goals.
- Coordinate with academic departments and the Registrar to identify program completers and graduates by tracking academic progress, verifying completion data, and ensuring accuracy in reporting.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support leadership, academic departments, and student services.
- Maintain and ensure accuracy of enrollment data in student information systems and reporting tools.
- Assist with forecasting enrollment trends and identifying opportunities for growth or improvement.
- Collaborate with Admissions, Advising, Registrar, and other departments to ensure data alignment and consistency.
- Support compliance reporting related to enrollment and student outcomes (state, federal, and system requirements).
- Assist in the evaluation of recruitment and retention initiatives through data analysis.
- Develop dashboards, visualizations, and summaries to communicate key findings in a clear and actionable manner.
- Participate in institutional effectiveness initiatives, including assessment and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide data support for strategic planning, program development, and accreditation activities.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform other appropriate duties as may be determined by the Director of Institutional Research and Effectiveness or the Associate Vice President of Operations & Institutional Services.
- Serve as a resource member on various campus committees.
Minimum/Preferred Qualifications
Education
- Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience
- Experience working with data, reporting systems, or databases. Experience in higher education, particularly in enrollment management, institutional research or student services preferred.
Supplemental Information
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Must be able to participate in the development of institutional goals and objectives. Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. Must possess knowledge in the use of office administrative procedures, desktop computers, copiers, scanners, and fax machine equipment. Knowledge of SACSCOC accreditation processes would be advantageous, as well as familiarity with Xitracs or any other higher education assessment system is highly desirable. Knowledge of Ellucian Banner, Evision Argos, or survey software’s is a plus.
Must follow all college policies and procedures, and work cooperatively and effectively with all levels of faculty, staff, administration, and stakeholders. Must be dependable and possess a high degree of self-initiative.
Physical Requirements
Normal ambulatory requirements; ability to move in and around personal work space and to and from other areas of the office using wheelchair or other aid to attend meetings, deliver/retrieve materials, conduct interviews, or other activities outside of personal work space. Requires frequent sitting and standing. Requires infrequent walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, twisting upper body, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds.
