Position Description

Oversee the implementation of medium to small IT projects and programs of moderate to high complexity, cost and risk; program the features and functionality associated with project management forms, templates, processes and tools; Provide formal project management training to IT Project Managers; Evaluate active IT projects for adherence to scope, schedule, budget and process; Produce specialized reports to identify performance trends and outcomes for measuring project success. Originate Information Technology (IT) projects; Manage IT Projects; Establish and lead IT Project Teams; Function as IT Project Team members. Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.

Major/Essential Functions

• Oversees the initiation, classification, prioritization, planning, execution and closure processes for medium to small IT projects of moderate complexity, cost and risk.
• Processes PMO project purchase requisitions.
• Evaluates active IT projects for adherence to scope, schedule and budget.
• Confirms work and certifies cabling invoices for individual work orders and projects.
• Analyze, organize, and remit Wide Area Network (WAN) circuit invoices.
• Produces specialized reports to identify performance trends and outcomes for measuring project success.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using TTUHSC(Texas Tech Health Sciences Center) accounting and budgetary practices.
• Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable procedures; Experience in preparation of fiscal and special reports.
• Experience using various accounting software.
• Experience using Microsoft Office for project management.
