GRCC is seeking candidates for the roles of Enterprise Applications Manager, Senior Enterprise Programmer/Analyst, or Enterprise Programmer/Analyst in the Enterprise Applications Department, located in Grand Rapids, MI. The position offered will depend on the candidate's skill level, experience, and qualifications.
Enterprise Applications Manager
This role leads the PeopleSoft ERP developers and business analysts, managing development, implementation, and support of enterprise systems. Responsibilities include overseeing project timelines, deliverables, and scope; providing strategic guidance; mentoring the team; and ensuring high-quality documentation and code standards. The candidate must participate in development projects and foster a collaborative environment.
Senior Enterprise Programmer/Analyst
This lead position handles complex activities, specializing in technical areas and overseeing critical systems like PeopleSoft modules. Duties include designing, developing, and supporting applications using tools such as PeopleCode and SQR; providing technical leadership; and ensuring system availability and security.
Enterprise Programmer/Analyst
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining PeopleSoft applications for Campus Solutions, Human Capital Management, and Finance. Responsibilities include analyzing business processes, collaborating with teams, configuring modules, providing support, and troubleshooting.
Essential Functions
- For the Manager: Lead and manage the team, handle performance evaluations, advise on projects, ensure documentation, and participate in problem-solving.
- For Senior Level: Lead projects, develop applications, coordinate with teams, test upgrades, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- For Mid Level: Develop and support applications, translate business needs, assist with troubleshooting, and conduct testing.
Job Specifications
Education
- Manager/Senior Level: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or Master's degree.
- Mid Level: Associate degree with experience or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Work Experience
- All Positions: Required SQL and object-oriented programming experience.
- Manager: 8+ years as an application developer, 5+ years in enterprise systems, and 3+ years as a PeopleSoft developer.
- Senior Level: 8+ years as an application developer and 3+ years as a PeopleSoft developer.
- Mid Level: 3+ years as an application developer with business analysis experience.
Skills
- Manager: Excellent implementation skills, problem-solving, leadership, and proficiency in PeopleTools.
- Senior Level: Application lifecycle skills, project leadership, and SQL expertise.
- Mid Level: Implementation skills, SQL proficiency, and object-oriented programming.
Compensation
- Manager Level: $84,278 - $103,241 annually
- Senior Level: $74,914 - $91,770 annually
- Mid Level: $66,590 - $81,573 annually
