In this role, you’ll help bring the Geronpreneurship Innovation Festival activities to life, working across programme planning, stakeholder communications, logistics, and on-the-ground operations. You will also support the SUSS Startup incubation programme with administrative functions (operations and marketing).
Job Responsibilities
Programme & Event Planning
Coordination and administration of the festival and Entrepreneurship programmes, including talks, exhibitions, networking sessions, related competitions, and fringe activities
Scheduling, programme rundowns, and speaker/partner coordination and follow ups
Prepare programme materials, briefing notes, and on-site documents
Operations & Logistics
Work with the festival team to prepare event logistics such as venue, equipment, registration, and materials
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as Events Management Company (EMC), venue provider, and staff on operational requirements
Support intake panels and demo day for the SUSS Startup incubation programme
Stakeholder & Communications Support
Communicate with speakers, partners, exhibitors, and attendees
Register, confirm guests, and respond to queries
Stakeholder and partner outreach and follow up activities (e.g. email updates, reminders to attendees etc.)
Community Engagement and networking in external events from our ecosystem partners
On-site and Post-event Support
Support event-day operations, including registration and session coordination
Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate where necessary
Support post-event wrap-up, feedback collection, and reporting
Marketing
Assist in the creation of marketing content (copy, visuals, short-form videos where applicable) aligned with campaign objectives
Suggest captions, posts, and basic marketing messages tailored to different target audiences
Assist in digital and physical distribution of marketing and event-related collaterals targeted at specific audience segments (e.g. students, founders, partners, mentors, industry stakeholders)
Job Requirements
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-based environment
Able to work some evenings or weekends during peak periods
Interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, ageing, or social impact is a plus
Working Arrangement
Full-time: 40 hours per week
On-site
