Job Summary
Support Institute's efforts to provide a safe, respectful environment for all campus community members by conducting and managing investigations of discrimination complaints, Including Title IX/sexual misconduct, received by the Office of Equal Opportunity, Compliance & Conflict Management. This role will plan and conduct investigations, as well as document and present results of investigations in accordance with applicable policies, procedures, and requirements.
This position will interact on a regular basis with: Georgia Tech (GT) management and leadership, students, faculty, staff, and visitors
This position typically will advise and counsel: Students, faculty, staff, and visitors
This position will supervise: N/A
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience
Four to five years of job-related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Certifications, Licenses or Permits:
Title IX and/or Civil Rights certifications preferred
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Juris Doctor Degree
Preferred Experience
Five or more years of job-related experience
Proposed Salary
The proposed salary for this position is $74,966-$100,000 commensurate with education and experience.

ABILITIES
The ability to understand the needs of the Institute and to work collaboratively with students, faculty and staff. Use of office and specialized computer applications
KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations, case law, and guidance related to identity-based discrimination, harassment, and bias in the educational and employment setting, including Title VI, Title VII, ADEA and Age Discrimination Act
SKILLS
Requires skills in formal investigation and interview techniques, including data collection, preparation, analysis and drafting of investigation reports, as well as planning and communications. Requires excellent judgement skills; strong organizational and verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle confidential situations with compassion, sensitivity and diplomacy; and ability to act in an objective and impartial manner at all times
