Coordinate and manage all athletic department laundry
operations, including the daily laundering, collection,
distribution, and organization of team uniforms, practice gear,
towels, and related apparel for assigned athletic programs.
Establish, maintain, and reconcile equipment and uniform
inventories, ensuring accurate records of all issued and returned
equipment and apparel.
Oversee the fitting, adjustment, repair, and maintenance of
hockey equipment to ensure student-athlete safety, comfort, and
performance.
Coordinate the distribution and collection of equipment and
uniforms for practices, competitions, and team travel.
Prepare and manage all game-day and practice equipment needs,
ensuring facilities, benches, locker rooms, and support areas are
properly equipped and operational.
Maintain and sharpen skates while providing ongoing maintenance
and repair of hockey equipment and related gear.
Coordinate the transportation of equipment, apparel, and
supplies for home and away contests, ensuring equipment
availability at all times.
Conduct routine inspections of equipment and arrange for repair
or replacement as necessary.
Collaborate with coaches and athletic department personnel
regarding equipment, apparel, and operational needs.
Assist in the development of equipment budgets and monitor
equipment expenditures within assigned sport programs.
Demonstrate effective organizational, communication, and
customer service skills while working with student-athletes,
coaches, officials, vendors, and campus partners.
Ensure all equipment operations are conducted in accordance with
NCAA, conference, and University policies and procedures.
Other Duties

Assist with other sports programs and department equipment needs
as directed by the Senior Associate Athletic Director.

Prepare team locker rooms, benches, penalty box areas, and game
support areas for practices and competitions.

Professionally prepare home and visiting team locker rooms and
officials' areas for game-day operations.

Travel with hockey teams as required to support equipment
operations and team needs.

Assist with department-wide equipment room operations and
special event support as needed.

Ability to work long, irregular hours, including nights,
weekends, holidays, and travel as required by practice and
competition schedules.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related equipment
management experience, preferably in collegiate athletics.

Demonstrated experience with ice hockey equipment management,
including equipment maintenance, repair, fitting, and skate
sharpening.

Working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple
priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in inventory management and record-keeping
practices.

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, student-athletes,
vendors, and campus partners.

Ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, and
problem-solving skills.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with an
insurable driving record.
Work Environment

Fast-paced collegiate athletics environment with significant
interaction with student-athletes, coaches, vendors,
administrators, and visitors.

Evening, weekend, holiday, and travel requirements based on team
and departmental schedules.

Frequent work in locker rooms, equipment rooms, laundry
facilities, athletic venues, and ice arenas.

Position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities
while maintaining high levels of organization and attention to
detail.
Physical Requirements

Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and move equipment,
uniforms, laundry, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.

Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, kneeling,
reaching, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Ability to transport equipment and supplies between facilities
and competition venues.

Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environmental
conditions associated with athletic events and team travel.

responsibilities. Final pay will depend on your experience,

$47,004 - $75,638
