Equipment Operator II

Job Summary

The Equipment Operator II is a position that fulfills the transit services for campus either through completing routine routes, or contracts for special transportation needs. This position will navigate a variety of routine and contracted routes on a time schedule with passenger safety, road and traffic conditions, as well as vehicle operational capacity, under consideration.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vans, single-axle buses, golf carts, and similar vehicles in accordance with safety regulations, traffic laws, and organizational policies.
• The work also includes monitoring the mechanical condition and cleanliness of the equipment, inspecting and maintaining fluid and air pressure levels, and keeping associated records and reports.
• Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned
