Fuzhou University Zhicheng College in Fuzhou, China is looking for one English language teacher for English majors/non-English majors.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

All candidates should:

• Native English speakers, a recognized TEFL/TESOL certificate is preferable
• Between 25 and 55 years old, in good physical condition
• At least bachelor’s degree or higher, minimum two years of formal teaching experience.
• High commitment and good interpersonal communication skill.

SALARY, ALLOWANCE and AWARD

• Monthly salary 10000RMB, for 11months in a year;
• International travel allowance：600-900RMB/month for 11 months and will be distributed into your monthly salary. (Allowance standard is depended on the distance of your home address);
• Meal Allowance：300RMB/month for 12 months;
• Free on-campus accommodation and 100RMB/month utilities allowance. 500RMB/month accommodation allowance to whom choose to live off-campus for 11 months and will be distributed into your monthly salary;
• 4800RMB at the end of each academic term (two terms in total) as the award to your adequate teaching workload and satisfactory teaching performance.

PERIOD OF SERVICE

One academic year to start, possible extension

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• An average of 16 classroom teaching hours per week, 45mins per teaching hour;
• Conduct the English Corner;
• Coach students for academic competitions

• The copy of the certificate of the latest educational level and the certifying documents of the professional qualification;
• A colored passport photo of yourself within 6 months;
• Work experience certificate and at least one formal recommendation letters if you taught before. (Letters from Foreign Affairs Office of Chinese universities where you used to teach at are preferred);
• Valid Health Certificate (should be issued from Exit & Entry Administration Bureau or the Disease Control and Prevention Center identified by the government; including your accompanying family members)
• Valid proof of no criminal record (within 6 months) (no criminal record accepted by previous Chinese employer is adequate if you switch domestically.
• Valid residence permit if applicable
• Work permit cancellation certificate if applicable
