The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Sofia University is looking for an enthusiastic Researcher R3 to join our team.
Inspirational position under the ConsuWAIS (Consumers Wanted AI support) project, award winning by VIHREN 2024 programme of BNSF.
A position for 1 FTE. Your employment contract will initially last 12 months, with possibility for extension, subject to positive performance evaluation.

Skills/Qualifications
PhD degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, business analytics, or equivalent. Diploma should be recognised by NACID, in case the awarding institution is not Bulgarian
YOUR FUNCTION
- To design, develop, and evaluate AI-based techniques and algorithms related to consumer behaviour
- Conduct cutting-edge research in AI and consumer behaviour
- Responsible for the development of user centred adviser- ConsuWAISer, to offer consumers smart advice and experience
EXPERTISE
- Expertise in one or more of the following research areas: computational modelling, reasoning and knowledge representation, behaviour change technology, human-centered AI
- Standing out knowledge and proven capacity of data analytics and machine learning
- Excellent programming in Python, R, SQL. Have experience with tools such as Google analytics, AWS, Looker, Tableau, or similar
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication in ENGLISH and BULGARIAN
- Publications in the area, Q1 journals
- At least 3 years of work experience in the specialty or as a researcher
