Salary package: $87,570 - $95,530 per annum plus 17% superannuation

Position Description and Selection Criteria: Evaluations Officer

The Position
The Evaluation Officer supports evaluation and assessment processes across SMP, working closely with the Head of Evaluation and Head of Assessment. The role involves collecting, analysing and reporting assessment data to inform program evaluation, improvement strategies and recommendations.

The Person
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused team player with experience supporting evaluation activities in complex environments and the ability to analyse data to inform improvements. You will have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, be able to manage competing priorities independently and collaboratively.

The School/Department
The School of Medicine and Psychology (SMP) was established in 2023 to bring together expertise from Medicine and Psychology to develop a unique educational and research environment. The focus is to produce psychologists, researchers, and medical graduates who practice compassion, conscience and professional excellence, and with a knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and culture. The school partners with a number of healthcare organisations to deliver teaching and training including but not limited to ACT Health, community practices throughout the ACT and Southeastern NSW.

The College/Division
The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the following disciplines: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Physics, Medicine and Psychology, and Medical Research. It is also home to various cross-disciplinary and specialist institutes and centres. Staff and students within the ANU College of Science and Medicine conduct research and deliver research-led education programs spanning the entire breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and world-class facilities.
