About us
QUT is a major Australian university with a global outlook and a 'real world' focus. We are an ambitious and collaborative institution that seeks to equip our students and graduates with the skills they will need in an increasingly disrupted and challenged world.

This initiative aligns directly with QUT’s Sports Strategy, reinforcing the university’s ambition to be a leader in sport by bridging industry, education, and research. Operating beyond the current scope of QUT Sport, the office takes a coordinated and strategic approach, fostering meaningful engagement with key stakeholders. It will also leverage QUT’s strengths in technology and innovation to drive forward-thinking advancements in the sporting domain. Additionally, the office will support the Vice-President Engagement in representing QUT’s broader Olympic and Paralympic interests, and work alongside dedicated personnel tasked with driving teaching.
