Your opportunityThe Faculty of Education is shaping the future of teaching and learning through innovative programs, impactful research and strong engagement with schools, communities and industry. As Executive Assistant to the Executive Dean, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the strategic and operational priorities of the Faculty in a fast-paced, high-performing environment. This is much more than a traditional administrative support role. Acting as a trusted support to the Executive Dean, you will coordinate executive priorities, drive projects and initiatives, prepare high-quality communications and briefing materials, and ensure actions are progressed efficiently across a complex stakeholder landscape.
You will make an impact by:
Coordinating executive priorities, projects (such as Virtual TeachSpace Project) and initiatives, ensuring deadlines, actions and outcomes are achieved.
Preparing high-quality reports, correspondence, presentations and briefing materials for University Executive and key stakeholders
Attend executive meetings and committees, recording outcomes, actions, follow-up activities, ensuring implementation of agreed actions
Building productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a key point of contact on behalf of the Executive Dean

Confident working with senior leaders and stakeholders, you know when to take initiative, when to seek guidance and how to build trusted working relationships.
To succeed in this role, you will also need:
A relevant degree and a minimum three years’ experience providing administrative support at senior executive level
Excellent time management and negotiations skills with the proven ability to efficiently manage the diary and office of a senior manager or executive.
Strong written communication skills, including experience drafting a range of business documents and communications
Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative, professional judgment and problem-solving skills whilst exercising a high level of confidentiality, diplomacy, discretion and tact

Your opportunity is:
Full-time, fixed term (up to 14 months)
Located at Gold Coast, QLD 4225.
HEW Level 6. The base salary ranges from $95,961 - $105,250 per annum, plus 17% employer’s contribution to superannuation. The total remuneration package is up to $ 123,143.
