We’re looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to support our Executive Office at Open Polytechnic. This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role where your work directly influences how our organisation operates and succeeds.
While you will primarily support the Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships and the Executive Director, Learning Delivery, as a member of the executive support team, you will also provide support to other executives as needed.

You’ll provide comprehensive executive and office support, including:
Executive support & coordination
- Managing complex calendars, commitments, and stakeholder engagements
- Preparing high-quality documentation, briefings, and reports
- Ensuring meetings and engagements are well-organised and effective
- Coordinating communication and translating requests into action
Communication & documentation
- Drafting correspondence, reports, and summaries
- Reviewing and distilling information for decision-making
- Supporting executive-level reporting
Office & operations management
- Coordinating meetings, logistics, and Executive Office activities
- Monitoring workflows and tracking actions and deadlines
- Supporting budget tracking and office systems
- Maintaining efficient, accessible filing and information systems
Relationship management
- Building strong working relationships across the organisation
- Acting as a key liaison between leadership and stakeholders
- Supporting collaboration across teams and directorates

- Skilled in building relationships across all levels of an organisation
- Tech-savvy, with strong Microsoft Office capability
- Adaptable, resilient, and comfortable with change
You’ll also have:
- Relevant experience in an executive or senior administrative support role
- A diploma-level qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Ideally, experience within a large or complex organisation
