Executive Assistant to the President
Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing administrative support for the Office of the President.

Hourly Range $18.74 - $24.37 based on education and experience

Responsibilities
Serves as the primary point of contact for the President's office, oversees communication and visitors - 35%
- Answers telephone and greets visitors; provides information and assistance.
- Schedules appointments and maintains front-office coordination.
- Determines nature of requests and responds or refers accordingly.
Provides administrative support for office operations - 65%
- Manages and strategically prioritizes the President's schedule to maximize effectiveness and efficiency.
- Supports the President in preparation for effective meetings.
- Completes special projects and assists with and, at times, coordinates or leads events and programs hosted by the Office of the President (e.g., Community Advisory Board meetings).
- Exercises independent judgment in responding to and prioritizing interactions with multiple external and internal stakeholders (e.g., federal, state, and local elected officials, Regents and USG executives, donors, DSC Foundation leaders, student, and senior administrators).
- Drafts and coordinates correspondence as needed.
- Obtains the President's signature on documents as required.
- Coordinates travel arrangements and processes expense reports.
- Purchases office supplies; manages office purchase card (P-card).
- Helps ensure policy updates.
- Processes expenditures and monitors account balances for the President's budgets, including the President's Fund from Dalton State College Foundation.
- Participates in college committees as requested.
- Coordinates with and assists the President's direct reports.
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
- Associate degree required, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience
Required Experience
- More than three years of related experience
