Executive Director, Early Identification Program
George Mason University is seeking an Executive Director for the Early Identification Program (EIP), responsible for overall vision, direction, and administration. This role involves supervising staff, developing and assessing program components, managing student services, and collaborating with partners. Key responsibilities include personnel management, program oversight, partnership cultivation, fundraising, and strategic leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision and leadership to Associate Directors and other team members, including performance management and professional development.
- Lead planning, execution, and assessment of EIP programs, ensuring alignment with mission and goals.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with internal and external entities to support program growth.
- Develop fundraising strategies, including grant writing and donor engagement.
- Offer strategic direction, foster a culture of excellence, and ensure data-driven decision making.
Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, or related field; 5 years of experience in educational administration; expertise in strategic planning, program development, grant writing, and working with diverse populations.
Preferred Qualifications: Terminal degree; experience with technology in academic tasks; knowledge of first-generation populations in Northern Virginia; bilingual in Spanish.
Salary: Starting from $120,000, commensurate with experience.
