Job Summary
The Executive Director for Post Award Grant Operations is responsible for overseeing the financial management of grants, ensuring compliance with funding rules, and providing financial oversight for grant-funded programs. Key duties include ensuring budgets and related forecasts are developed and maintained, monitoring grant revenues and expenditures, monitoring grant receivables, preparing financial reports, managing grant closings, managing grant accountants, and supervising monthly close procedures including reconciliations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and grant-specific regulations like Uniform Guidance .
Job Duties
The Executive Direct will oversee the Restricted Funds Accounting team as well as 3 Grant Business Officer’s. This position will have a dual reporting structure to the AVP for Finance & Administration and the AVP for Research, with primary reporting and administration by the AVP for F&A.
