Executive (Grant Management), SCALE (Grant Partnership)
About the Role
To augment our manpower resources in the School, we are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join our Grant Partnership (GP) Unit.
Reporting to the Head of GP, the incumbent will perform administrative functions to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the grant management and compliance. The role involves being a Grant Business Partner to CET units within the University, overseeing the smooth execution of grant-related activities and supporting financial processes and documentation. The successful candidate will address stakeholders’ enquiries on funding/claims procedures, coordinate with external agencies on reporting requirements, and assist in preparing materials for regular reporting and audit.
This role is offered on a 3-year renewable contract basis in the first instance, with the prospect of a regular open employment contract thereafter subject to satisfactory job performance during the first 3 years.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day operational tasks related to the administration of the SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and other grants managed by the Unit as a Grant Business Partner.
- Liaise with NUS CET units, relevant SCALE units, SSG and other grant agencies as needed on policy/process changes, documentation and reporting requirements.
- Provide strong administrative support for grant claims and disbursement.
- Manage queries from NUS CET units regarding grant processes and compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all grant-related documentation.
- Support grant audit activities by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
- Assist in streamlining processes for greater efficiency and compliance.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable University.
- IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications.
Experience & Attributes
- 1-2 years of related working experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in grant administration will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with a positive work attitude.
- Strong team player who is resourceful, resilient and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
