Executive in Residence
The Leeds School of Business is seeking an individual with expertise in venture capital and climate technologies to serve as an Investor in Residence in support of Boulder Climate Ventures (BCV) — CU Boulder’s new initiative to accelerate and commercialize climate innovations in the Rocky Mountain West.
Funded by Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy, the Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility (CESR) and the Deming Center for Entrepreneurship are piloting BCV during the academic year 2025-2026. BCV is a two-part co-curricular program that combines experiential learning and community to give students a focused toolkit on how to develop and launch a climate tech startup. The program is based on curriculum developed by Stanford, MIT, and the Breakthrough University Climate Ventures team.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of climate entrepreneurship education and build an enduring and impactful program at CU Boulder. CU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment. We are committed to creating a workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and we encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
