Executive/Senior Executive
Job Description
This position reports to the Faculty Lead for Clinical Performance, responsible for the overall administrative management of a variety of business-related functions within the Clinical Performance Centre and the MD Programme Department.
- Execute finance, budget, manpower and policy interpretation processes to ensure effective and efficient operations
- Review, enhance and streamline work processes for value-add impacts and outcomes
- Compile data, claims and reports in a timely manner with analytical inputs
- Plan and execute the Department’s and CPC initiatives/projects. Conduct routine maintenance and repair of low to high fidelity simulators, task trainers and other training equipment
- Conduct periodic asset verification to ensure the records are up to date
- Assist with the setting up, running and taking down of procedural skills and simulation sessions
- Participate in the coordination, planning, development and implementation of CPC teaching and assessment events, providing administrative support as required
- Manage all simulation, consumables and clinical disposables, maintaining an up-to-date inventory and coordinating procurement when necessary
- Perform resource planning and manage the procurement of consumables, equipment, operational services, etc. to ensure compliance with procurement policy and relevant regulations
- Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and process flow diagram as required, assisting with utilisation tracking data for daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Act as a simulator operator (when required) by programming, testing and running scenarios with CPC team members and / or faculty instructors
- Participate in the general service and administrative responsibilities of the CPC as determined by the CPC Lead
- Develop strong working relationships with CPC users, maintaining positive communication
- Assist in the analysis of emerging trends in simulation technologies, their possible use and deployment within the CPC
- Collaborate with and support activities of the Office of Education faculty
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein or as assigned by the HoD or CPC Lead
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in a related discipline
- Minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant work experience
- Work experience in a research/academic environment would be advantageous
- Competent in applying general personnel practices, accounting and budgeting principles and coordination of major administrative functions
- Able to prioritise and multi-task with some supervisory role
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work well in teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
