Exercise Science, Adjunct Faculty
Job Summary
Florida Gulf Coast University is a comprehensive university

Assignments will include teaching, at both undergraduate and/or
graduate levels, as applicable. Teaching assignments may be on the
main campus or at off-campus sites within our region. Additional
duties may be assigned by supervisor.
Job Description
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
- Teaches core or elective courses in the undergraduate Exercise
Science program as applicable.
Contributes to course and/or curriculum development.
Other Duties:
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Additional Job Description
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Exercise science or a related field with at
least 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Doctorate degree or higher in from a regionally accredited
institution or equivalent accreditation.
- Experience teaching courses at the undergraduate level.
- Five or more years of experience in the discipline.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Knowledge of strength and conditioning techniques.
- Knowledge of fitness assessment training.
- Knowedlge of fitness assessment, exercise training, and
exercise prescription.
