About the role
As a Lecturer in the Discipline of Pharmacy at the University of New England (UNE), you will contribute to the achievement of the university's strategic objectives by delivering high-quality education Your role will ensure consistency between academic standards and the university's goals, fostering excellence in teaching and learning to improve healthcare outcomes.
Your specific responsibilities include developing and delivering course materials, scholarship in alignment with UNE's strategic priorities, supervising student projects, and participating in academic and professional service activities. These responsibilities align with the UNE Strategic Plan and the Academic Classification Standards to maintain high educational and professional standards.
About you
To be successful in this role:
You will be an enthusiastic educator, with an understanding of curriculum and/or assessment design development, and experience in supporting students to learn. You will be driven to develop greater expertise in the scholarship of teaching and learning, and you will have communication and professional skills that allow you to work well in diverse teams. You will have an interest in innovation, a familiarity with technology-enhanced teaching, and a collaborative approach to your work. You will have organisational skills that enable you to undertake unit coordination and to balance multiple concurrent priorities.
