"F/CM Moves & Events Tech 1"

Department: Phys Plant-Solid Waste
Salary: Commensurate with Experience/Education
Description: Performs miscellaneous manual labor throughout the university. Pursuant to the State of Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, this position researches, works on, or has access to critical infrastructure and requires the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the University infrastructure. This position requires personnel be routinely reviewed to determine whether or not criminal history or continuous connections for the government or political apparatus of a foreign adversary might prevent the employee from being able to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure.

1. Moves and/or transports furniture, trash, debris, equipment, tools, etc.
2. Moves and assembles/disassembles chairs, tables, podiums, tents, scaffolding, etc.
3. Cleans storage areas, vehicles, work sites, loading docks, and equipment as needed.
4. Inspects equipment and monitors supply levels.
5. May assist skilled crafts personnel in completing work
6. May serve on special task force during periods of emergency, such as floods, hurricanes, etc.
7. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MQ: Education: Requires the ability to read, write and follow simple oral instructions as might normally be acquired through up to 8 years of formal schooling. Experience: Requires a minimum of six (6) months of directly job-related experience.
