Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities:

• Manages the purchasing functions for Ringling Facilities & Security Departments.
• Works closely with leadership and staff on complex requisition needs, procurement processes, and the status of goods/services.
• Prepares and verifies accuracy of expenditure requests and purchase orders.
• Makes purchases and prepares required documentation, and processes invoices for payment.
• Monitors budgets and reconciles expenses against monthly Accounting budget reports.

As needed:

• Works with FSU Procurement offices to resolve concerns or impediments to operational effectiveness.
• Maintains department vendors and establishes new vendors.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to four years. (Note: higher education can substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of:
  • Accounting systems and practices.
  • Applicable computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Ability to:
  • Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Compile, review, and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
  • Meet project deadlines.

Anticipated Salary Range

The anticipated rate of pay will range from $36,250 - $40,000 and will be based on the education, skills, and experience of the selected candidate. Find out more about our comprehensive benefits package under the "FSU Total Rewards" section.
