Implement and follow preventive maintenance schedules to avoid equipment breakdowns and extend the life of the building systems.Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and perform necessary urgent repairs to buildings and/or infrastructure.Assist craftsmen of various trades in performing repairs or maintenance as required.Maintain detailed records of daily maintenance activities, inspections, and repairsPerform other duties as directed.Minimum and Desired QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or other formal training in a trades program such as HVAC, electrical or plumbing.
- Applicant should have at least 1-years of experience in a related field with certified completion of related formal training.
- When no formal training has occurred, applicant should have at least 3-years of job-related experience.
- A valid Texas driver's license is required.
Desired Qualifications:- Proven working experience as a general maintenance technician, such as performing building maintenance at an apartment complex, or a similar position in the facility maintenance industry is preferred.
- Completion of formal training in a related building-trades craft is preferred.
