"Facilities Manager"

Miles Community College is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee campus operations, maintenance, and facilities planning. This role ensures a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise facilities staff, creating schedules and ensuring accountability.
• Manage the Physical Plant budget and assist in implementing the Facilities Master Plan.
• Oversee maintenance, inspections, work orders, and campus safety.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, inventory, and motor pool operations.
• Ensure compliance with state, OSHA, and college standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field). Associate degree with extensive relevant experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years of facilities/building management experience, including supervision.
• Must obtain Montana State Boiler Operator License within one year and hold or be eligible for a Montana CDL.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, stairs, and scaffolding. Strong interpersonal skills required.
