Job Description

The University of Missouri Athletics Department is looking to hire a Facilities Manager.

Reporting to the Director of Facility Operations, the Facilities Manager will ensure the functionality of our facilities and grounds as required by a high-level Division One Athletics Department.

Responsibilities will include:

• Managing the building services and maintenance operations of assigned Mizzou Sports Park facilities ensuring that the facility is at optimal functionality.
• Supervising and assisting service, maintenance and support staff as well as serving as the liaison with other managers to facilitate user needs.
• Ensuring that all facilities adhere to proper safety standards.
• Maintaining inventory and keeping in good working order all equipment needed to perform functions.
• Communicating with external contractors and vendors.
• Ensuring that all work performed by contractors is compliant with contract documents.
• Planning, tracking, and prioritizing facility projects and ensuring clear and consistent communications.
• Running routine maintenance inspections and accurately following maintenance protocols.
• Preparing and implementing project budgets and time frames.
• Other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm; nights and weekends as needed, by events.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $52,915.20 - $55,000/year

Grade: GGS-010
