Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
As a Faculty Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth and efficient delivery of Faculty operations. You’ll provide high-quality administrative support across postgraduate programmes, research activities, and work-integrated learning initiatives. Acting as a central point of contact, you will manage enquiries, coordinate events, support academic processes, and maintain accurate records, all while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing administration team.

You are a warm, personable, and approachable person with a customer-focus, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and can adapt and use initiative. You have demonstrated experience in:
- A minimum of 2 – 4 years’ experience in an office administration and/or professional support role within a medium to large organisation
- Strong experience managing databases, records, or student information systems
- Demonstrated experience with competing priorities and high-volume workflows
- Experience using office systems and maintaining accurate documentation
- Advanced communication skills that promote confident and professional engagement
- Experience in, or understanding of, NZ Tertiary Education system would be advantageous
- An alignment with our organisation's values and culture, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment

You will work closely with the Faculty Administration team, Postgraduate Directors, Associate Deans, academic staff, and students. You’ll also engage with internal teams such as the UC Placements and WIL teams, as well as external stakeholders including Law Clinic clients and partners.
