Job Title: Faculty Associate

Employment Type: Full Time

Department: Life Science (prefer Microbiology and Biotechnology)

Essential Qualifications and Experience: M. Sc. Life Science (prefer Microbiology and Biotechnology). A faculty associate is primarily responsible to assist the senior faculty members to offer regular academic courses. He/she also may need to help faculty members to design and structure course curriculum and develop course content for specific courses. The faculty associates are generally required to assess the performance of the students in both theory and lab courses. He/she may have to monitor their behaviour of the students in the classroom and laboratories, and their level of participation in all academic and non-academic activities in the campus. He/she also grades the students based on their performance in the examination. A faculty associate may also have to deliver lectures for specific courses assigned to him by the academic office. A faculty associate is also expected to be involved in the research projects carried out at the school. He/she has to mentor the student’s projects and help to edit the information compiled by the students in publishing the research findings. Other than the above responsibilities, the job of a faculty associate consists of various other tasks. He is required to assist in administrative tasks. He also acts as a point of contact between the students and the administration. A faculty associate must register for the Ph.D. (in case he/she has not completed) in two years from the date of join failing which he/she will be forced to discontinue their services here.

Candidate Profile: All the candidates must have completed PG in their relevant discipline. Candidate should work with a lot of dedication and discipline. Good Communication Skills.
