SUMMARYMinimum Salary $62,173.25Salary offer commensurate with education and related work experience.
This is a full-time 12-month/tenure track faculty position.

POSITION SUMMARYTeaches developmental, freshman, and sophomore-level courses within the Computer Information Technology curriculum while supporting student engagement, academic success, and instructional excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Teach and supervise students in assigned Computer Information Technology courses using effective instructional methods and technologies.
- Develop and maintain course syllabi, instructional materials, and assessments in accordance with College standards.
- Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and maintain required academic records and reports.
- Advise and support students regarding academic progress and connect them with appropriate College resources.
- Utilize technology and learning management systems to support classroom and online instruction.
- Participate in curriculum development, program assessment, student recruitment, retention, and continuous improvement activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of computer technologies, industry practices, and effective teaching methodologies.
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, College administration, and the community.
- Participate in institutional meetings and professional development activities.
- Adhere to College policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer-Based Information Systems, Instructional Technology, or a business/computer-related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of non-teaching work experience in a computer-related field and/or applicable industry certification(s).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer-Based Information Systems, Instructional Technology, or a business/computer-related field.
- Bilingual – English/Spanish.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and intermediate computer applications.
- Working knowledge of Blackboard or similar learning management systems.
- Knowledge of interactive, technology-supported, and online instructional methods.
