Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a faculty development trainer to join the Hackensack Meridian
School of Medicine and help faculty and residents strengthen the way they teach, mentor and engage learners.

What You'll Do

Working with the assistant dean of
student, resident and faculty development, you'll develop and implement training programs for faculty across all phases of the school of
medicine curriculum, as well as residents and faculty throughout the Hackensack Meridian Health network.

This isn't a role where
you'll spend every day behind a desk. You'll visit ambulatory practices and inpatient settings, observe teaching in action and provide
constructive, growth-oriented feedback. You'll also collaborate with clinical leaders and course directors to create learning experiences
that help faculty continually strengthen their skills.

Your work will include:

• Coaching and
  supporting faculty and residents in a variety of teaching environments

• Conducting site visits within ambulatory and
  inpatient clinical settings

• Observing teaching and providing thoughtful, actionable feedback

• Developing and leading workshops, webinars and active-learning sessions

• Assessing faculty development needs and
  identifying opportunities for additional training

• Collaborating with clinical leaders and course directors on
  educational programming

• Supporting faculty recruitment for the Longitudinal Clinical Placement program

• Helping develop interprofessional education initiatives

• Creating and maintaining digital faculty development
  resources, including web content, videos and webinars

• Coordinating faculty development programs and ensuring sessions
  meet CME eligibility requirements

We're looking for someone who understands that effective faculty development is more than
delivering a presentation. It takes the ability to connect with educators, understand how people learn and turn feedback into meaningful
professional growth.

Required qualifications include:

• Bachelor's degree in higher education, health
  education or a related field

• At least one year of experience teaching small groups and presenting to larger
  audiences

• Experience assessing, designing and developing training or professional development programs

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Experience presenting in both in-person and virtual environments

• Ability to work effectively and independently
  across office, clinical and remote settings

Preferred qualifications include:

• Master's
  degree

• Faculty development experience within a medical school, academic medical center or hospital setting

• Experience with interprofessional education

• Training and development experience within ambulatory or inpatient
  clinical environments

• Experience supporting learners and educators across undergraduate medical education, graduate
  medical education and continuing medical education
