Faculty Openings in Institute for Clean Energy & Advanced Materials (ICEAM), Southwest University, Chongqing, P. R. China

Institute for Clean Energy & Advanced Materials (ICEAM) is a newly established academic unit at Southwest University in Chongqing, aimed at creating a world-class environment for research in clean energy, advanced materials and related disciplines. Professor Chang Ming Li, Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) and Fellow of RSC, is the Director for ICEAM, and was elected in the 1000 Talent Plan awarded by Chinese Government in 2011. Till now, Southwest University has invested more than 18 million RMB to purchase research facilities including Transmission Electron Microscope, Scanning Electron Microscope, X-ray diffraction, et al., and 7 million RMB have been committed to receive for the research institute. A building with total area of 2,700 m2 was newly decorated as research laboratories and offices of ICEAM. The Institute currently has 10 full-time faculty members, and is actively recruiting outstanding scholars to join us.

We sincerely invite applications from highly-qualified candidates in areas including (but not limited to) Clean Energy systems (Solar Energy, Hydrogen Production, Fuel cells, Batteries, Bioenergy), system or synthetic biology, Organic Electronics, Organic Chemistry, Materials, Lab-on-a-Chip system, Sensors.

Positions at Assistant/Associate/Full Professor levels are available. The qualified candidate should have Ph.D. degree, international postdoctoral experience and extensive experience in clean energy, advanced materials and related disciplines.
