Faculty Osteopathic Medicine
Position Description
MSOM invites applications for a faculty appointment in Osteopathic Principles & Practices (OPP) / Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (NMM/OMM). This faculty member contributes to the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of the OMM curriculum across the four-year osteopathic medical program.
Working collaboratively with the Chair of OMM/NMM, the faculty member:
- Teaches in the pre-clinical and clinical OMM curriculum for OMS I–IV
- Provides instruction in skills training, competency development, and osteopathic manipulative treatment
- Participates in curriculum design, assessment, and program evaluation
- Engages in scholarly activity, including research, presentations, and contributions to the academic community
- Supports departmental initiatives and contributes to the academic mission of the school
- Serves as a mentor and role model for medical students, promoting the values and philosophy of osteopathic medicine
