The Cyprus Institute invites applications for a faculty member at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor in computational science and technology, specifically in areas such as foundation models, generative AI, causal representation learning, and more. The position is full-time and based at the Athalassa Campus.
Responsibilities: Develop and implement research strategies, mentor graduate students, advance research in AI and ML, build collaborations, secure funding, and communicate research results.
Required Qualifications: PhD in Computational Sciences or related field, proven research record, proficiency in English, and interpersonal skills. Additional experience required based on rank.
Desired Qualifications: Post-doctoral experience in relevant fields.
Salary: For Assistant Professor: €55,668.86; For Associate Professor: €70,648.69 annually.
