Position Overview

The College of Engineering at Al Yamamah University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Cybersecurity. The selected candidate will primarily teach core and elective courses within the Master of Cybersecurity program, supervise master's research projects, and contribute to ongoing curriculum development and program evaluation.

The faculty member will:

• Teach designated cybersecurity courses, in accordance with YU’s approved teaching load and regulations.
• Prepare course syllabi and materials, with clear objectives and outcomes.
• Conduct regular student assessments, in-class activities, assignments, and examinations.
• Supervise Master research-oriented projects.
• Advise and mentor students academically and professionally.
• Participate in departmental and college meetings and contribute to academic improvement.
• Engage in research and publication activities aligned with the program’s mission.
• Submit reports and documentation required by the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA).
• Contribute to community service initiatives and scientific committees under the college’s guidance.

Qualifications

Required:

• Ph.D. in Cybersecurity.
• Fluency in English and strong academic writing and communication skills.

Preferred (not mandatory):

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH.
