・The above annual salary is for one fiscal year (from April to March of the following year), and necessary adjustments will be made according to the time of appointment.

Regarding affiliation, the appointee may be required to hold concurrent appointments in the former faculties and graduate schools that existed prior to the April 2018 reorganization, while such faculties and graduate schools remain in place.
Public University Corporation Tokyo Metropolitan University changed its corporate name to Tokyo Metropolitan Public University Corporation on April 1, 2020.
Upon appointment, the Faculty of Systems Design Engineering plans to provide a one-time startup research fund of 200,000 yen, an annual basic research funding of 500,000 yen, and approximately 190,000 yen per year in expenses for experiments and practical training. In addition, early-career faculty members are expected to be eligible for an internal competitive research fund that prioritizes young researchers, with awards of up to 1,000,000 yen per year.
