Assistant/Associate/Full Professor in the Biology of Aging (2 positions)

DESCRIPTION
The Buck Institute for Research on Aging invites applications for two faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level:
- Senescence & Cellular Aging
- A position honoring the scientific legacy of Dr. Judith Campisi, seeking investigators focused on cellular senescence, mechanisms of cellular aging, senescence-associated phenotypes, and/or interventions targeting senescent cells.
- Reproductive Biology of Aging / Women’s Healthy Aging Innovation Center
- A position seeking scientists focused on the biology of healthy aging in women, including ovarian aging, menopause, reproductive endocrinology, reproductive transitions, sex differences in aging, and related fields.
Candidates may apply to one or both positions depending on their expertise.
The successful candidates will establish innovative, independent, and collaborative research programs that advance the Buck Institute’s mission to increase human health span.
RANK & COMPENSATION
Appointments will be made at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Anticipated annual salary ranges:
- Assistant Professor: $130,000 – $190,000
- Associate Professor: $160,000 – $260,000
- Professor: $210,000 – $400,000

QUALIFICATIONS
- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree
- Minimum of three years of postdoctoral experience
- Demonstrated potential for independent, high-impact research
- Commitment to collaborative and interdisciplinary science
